After the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Jharkhand’s Cabinet Minister and Congress MLA Irfan Ansari made a strong statement.

🇮🇳 “Rahul Gandhi is the future Prime Minister” – Irfan Ansari

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Irfan Ansari posted:

“Rahul Gandhi, the future Prime Minister of India, stands with Dalits, Adivasis, and minorities. As long as Congress is there, we don’t need to worry.”

He also said:

“BJP’s injustice will not go unanswered. We will not accept any changes in the Waqf Board. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in power for 13 years, but no minority person has gone to him for help or asked for any favour. Still, injustice continues.”

⚖️ “We will fight back through the Constitution”

Irfan Ansari said,

“We will strongly oppose any attempt to take away our rights. We will not tolerate it. We will fight our battle in a constitutional way. Just like the farm laws were taken back, the wrong amendment made to the Waqf law will also have to be withdrawn.”

📢 “India didn’t need this Waqf Bill”

Earlier, Irfan Ansari had also written:

“The country didn’t need the Waqf Amendment Bill. What people really need is jobs. The Parliament should have discussed employment. Whether Hindu or Muslim, everyone deserves job opportunities. Instead, the Modi government has brought this Bill just to fool the public.”

🧾 Summary

  • Irfan Ansari opposes the Waqf Amendment Bill.
  • He believes the Bill is unjust and targets minorities.
  • He supports Rahul Gandhi and says minorities will stay safe under Congress.
  • He says the real issue in India is unemployment, not Waqf.
  • He promises to fight legally and constitutionally.

Ansari’s comments add to the growing political debate around the Waqf Bill and how it may impact different communities.
