RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) Chief Mohan Bhagwat is currently on a five-day visit to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, from 3rd to 7th April. During this time, there is speculation that he might meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
In response to these reports, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav took a dig at the possible meeting. Without naming anyone directly, he made a sarcastic post on X (formerly Twitter).
What Did Akhilesh Yadav Say?
Akhilesh wrote:
“If one ‘chief’ takes another ‘main’ along as a friend to an educational center, then the smart people who say ‘46 is 56’ will help increase students’ knowledge. And maybe they will also get time to decide who should be the next party president – a topic pending for a long time.”
This was clearly a sarcastic comment aimed at Mohan Bhagwat and Yogi Adityanath, referring to a possible discussion about the next BJP president.

- He will meet several RSS pracharaks (campaigners) during this visit.
- His visit is believed to be focused on strengthening the RSS network in the Varanasi region and nearby districts.

Why Is This Visit Important?
This visit and the possible meeting with CM Yogi come at a time when political strategies are being shaped ahead of important elections. That’s why Akhilesh Yadav used the opportunity to mock BJP and question their internal leadership matters.
In simple terms, he used humor and sarcasm to criticize BJP’s planning and leadership talks happening behind the scenes.
