Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jharkhand on Wednesday, October 2. He is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation for projects worth over ₹83,000 crores from Hazaribagh. He will also address a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally at Gandhi Maidan in Matwari, Hazaribagh. BJP leader Champai Soren commented on PM Modi’s visit, saying that whenever the Prime Minister comes, he brings significant gifts for Jharkhand.
Champai Soren spoke to the media, expressing the excitement among the people of Jharkhand regarding PM Modi’s visit. He stated, “PM Modi is coming to Jharkhand. The residents are excited about his visit. His presence will accelerate the development of the state. Whenever he comes, he leaves behind new gifts for the people of Jharkhand. That is why everyone in the state is happy about his visit.”
PM to Inaugurate Major Scheme
The Prime Minister will spend 4 hours and 35 minutes in Jharkhand today. He will arrive in Ranchi at 1:10 PM via a special flight and then travel to Hazaribagh by helicopter. In Hazaribagh, PM Modi will participate in a state program at Vinoba Bhave University. He will launch the ‘Dharti Aba Tribal Village Utkars Campaign,’ which has a budget of ₹79,156 crores. He will also inaugurate 40 Eklavya schools and lay the foundation for 25 more schools.

Previous Visit on September 15
This is the fourth time PM Modi will launch a significant central scheme from Jharkhand. His previous visit was on September 15, when he flagged off six Vande Bharat Express trains from Jamshedpur and addressed a political rally.
