The Haryana Congress shared the screenshot and stated, “This candidate list is fake. Beware of those who have deceived Haryana for 10 years. Stay alert. BJP out by October 4.” The list reportedly includes names of candidates from various places such as Kalka, Panchkula, Naraingarh, Ambala City, and others. When Will the Official List Be Released?

The Congress Working Committee (CWC) is expected to meet in the first week of September, after which the official list of candidates will be announced. Haryana Congress in-charge Deepak Babaria recently mentioned that discussions have taken place about 50-55 candidates. The CWC meeting is likely to be held on September 2 or 3. After this meeting, the official list is expected to be released.

Babaria also suggested that someone who does not contest in the elections might still become the Chief Minister if they have the support of the legislators and the central party leadership.
