The list of appointments to the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission has surprised many people. After Aparna Yadav was made the Vice President, her silence raised many questions. People are also discussing various points based on social media reactions. Another name that has sparked conversation is Ritu Shahi, who has been appointed as a member of the Women’s Commission. Ritu Shahi is the wife of STF officer D.K. Shahi.

Who is Ritu Shahi?

Ritu Shahi is the regional treasurer of the BJP Women’s Wing in the Gorakhpur area. Now, she has been made a member of the Uttar Pradesh Women’s Commission. She has been working as a BJP worker for a long time. During the recent local body elections, she was a strong contender for tickets in elections ranging from Block Pramukh to Chairman in Deoria, but she did not get a ticket at that time.

Recently, two days ago, a list of appointments for the UP State Women’s Commission was released. In this list, BJP leader Babita Kumari from Agra was also made a member of the Women’s Commission. Aparna Yadav and Charu Chaudhary were appointed as Vice Presidents. In total, 25 members were added to the commission, and Ritu Shahi is one of them.

It’s important to note that Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, was given the position of Vice President of the UP Women’s Commission, but she is reportedly not happy with the role. Sources suggest that she even expressed her concerns to Home Minister Amit Shah over a phone call.
