The Vivo Y78t has been launched in China as the latest Y-series smartphone from the Chinese smartphone brand. The new Vivo smartphone comes in three colour options with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo Y78t is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12 GB of RAM. The Vivo Y78t comes with dual rear cameras led by a 50MP primary sensor and is backed by a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The phone will be the successor to the Vivo Y77t launched in China in August. 

Vivo Y78t specifications : Vivo Y78t Price in India, Availability 

Priced at CNY 1,499 (about Rs. 17,000), the flagship edition of the Vivo Y78t has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is presently unknown how much 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage will cost. It is available in Moon Shadow Black, Snowy White and Distance Mountains Green (translated from Chinese) color options. The phone is currently on sale in China through Vivo’s official online store. 

Vivo Y78t specifications :  

The dual-SIM (nano) Vivo Y78t ships with Android 13-based OriginOS 3. It has a 6.64-inch Full HD (2388 x 1080 pixels) LCD IPS display with 120 Hz refresh rate, 394 ppi pixel density and 911 pixels.06 screen-to-body ratio. The display has a middle notch for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.  

For photos and videos, the Vivo Y78t has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with  f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, the phone has 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. 

Vivo Y78t 5G connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, electronic compass and gyroscope. There is also a  fingerprint sensor on the side for identification. 

Vivo, Transsion Holdings may produce rollable smartphones in 2024 .The Vivo Y78t packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The dimensions are 164.63 x 75.80 x 9.10 mm and the weight is around 199 grams.
