Indian opener Shubman Gill played a brilliant innings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad against England. He completed his seventh ODI century in just 95 balls. During his innings, he smashed 14 fours and 2 sixes.

  • England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl first.
  • India did not have a good start as Rohit Sharma got out early.
  • After Rohit’s dismissal, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli built a strong 116-run partnership.
  • Virat Kohli scored 52 runs off 55 balls before getting out, but Gill continued his aggressive batting.
