How Did Disha Salian Die? Sanjay Raut’s Big Claim

The Disha Salian case has once again become a hot topic. Disha Salian, former manager of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died in June 2020. Her father, Satish Salian, has now filed a petition in the High Court demanding an NIA (National Investigation Agency) probe into her death. This has sparked a political controversy in Maharashtra.

Sanjay Raut’s Statement

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has reacted to the issue. He said,

“Shiv Sena (UBT) is aggressively raising state issues, so there is an attempt to defame Aaditya Thackeray. Someone is behind Disha Salian’s father. The government failed in the Aurangzeb controversy, so now they are trying to bring up Disha Salian’s case to target Aaditya Thackeray.”

Raut further claimed,

“It was just an accident. Why is a petition being filed five years later? This is just politics. Earlier, they tried to dig up Aurangzeb’s grave, but now Aurangzeb has come back to haunt them. To escape from that issue, they are using Disha’s case.”

Former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Reacts

Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said,

“I am collecting information about the petition filed by Disha’s father. I have requested a copy of it. I believe this issue is being used for political reasons.”

Minister Sanjay Shirsat’s View

Minister Sanjay Shirsat said,

“Disha Salian’s death was suspicious from the beginning. Her father has now openly spoken and said he cannot bear the pain anymore. He has claimed that a former mayor pressured him to stay silent. Now, he has approached the High Court. If anyone is found guilty, they will be sent to jail.”

Rohit Pawar’s Statement

NCP-SCP leader Rohit Pawar also reacted,

“If a father is seeking justice for his daughter in court, we should respect the court’s decision. However, Aaditya Thackeray’s name is being dragged into this case, but there is no connection between him and this matter.”

What Did Disha’s Father Say in His Petition?

Disha’s father, Satish Salian, has accused:

  • Aaditya Thackeray (Uddhav Thackeray’s son)
  • Actor Suraj Pancholi
  • Actor Dino Morea

He has demanded their arrest. He has also sought action against the then Mumbai Police Commissioner and Mayor.

Disha Salian’s Death in 2020

Disha Salian was Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager. She died on June 8, 2020, after falling from the balcony of her Mumbai apartment. At that time, police ruled it as suicide.

Now, with the new petition and political debate, the case has once again come into the spotlight.
