In the US, Gautam Gambhir is currently participating in the US Masters T10 League, the game’s shortest format.

Before the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024), former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is prepared to part ways with Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG).

The most recent addition to the Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) backroom personnel is former BCCI Chief Selector MSK Prasad, who serves as a strategic consultant. A larger revamp that also saw Justin Langer succeed Andy Flower as head coach included the hiring of Prasad as well.

According to a Hindi newspaper, Dainik Jagran, Gautam Gambhir will be the next to leave LSG.

Gautam Gambhir will now leave the IPL franchise, according to a source who spoke to the daily. Beyond this, I’m at a loss for words.

Homecoming for Gautam Gambhir?

In the past, it has also been widely rumoured that Gambhir will play for Kolkata Knight Riders in a homecoming game. The management of KKR and the India great have been in touch for a while.

Gautam Gambhir felt more secure as a player in the IPL following his pivotal performance for Delhi Daredevils and subsequent signing with Knight Riders for a record US$2.4 million in the 2011 auction.

He led the team in scoring for four seasons, most notably in 2012 when they captured their first championship.

Then, in 2014, he led KKR to their second IPL championship, cementing his place in the team’s and the league’s annals.

The US Masters T10 League, the smallest format of cricket, is now being consumed by Gambhir in the USA. He will play for the New Jersey Tritons alongside Yusuf Pathan, another part of India’s 2011 World Cup winning team.

They also have Monty Panesar, RP Singh, Albie Morkel, Liam Plunkett, Jesse Ryder, Craig McMillan, and Liam Plunkett in addition to these players.
