A shocking murder case has come to light in Banka district, Bihar, where a woman planned her own husband’s killing. The incident happened near Rampur Mod under Amarpur police station area on Friday, 11 April 2025. A headless body was found there, which was later identified as Bihari Yadav, a 35-year-old resident of Kenduar village.
On Monday, 14 April 2025, SP Upendra Nath Verma shared details of the investigation. He said a special team was formed to solve the case quickly. During questioning, the victim’s wife, Rinku Kumari, made shocking confessions.
Why Did She Kill Her Husband?
Rinku Kumari revealed that her husband had returned from Kolkata on 6 April and went to Punasiya. She spoke to him last at English Mod, and after that, he disappeared.
During investigation, Rinku confessed that she was having illegal relationships with other men from her village. When her husband found out, he started opposing it, beat her up often, and also stopped giving her money. Angry over this, she decided to get him killed.
The Murder Plan and Execution
Rinku met a few criminals in jail, where she planned the murder. After being released, she contacted Baleshwar Harijan and offered him ₹35,000 to kill her husband. On 11 April, they murdered Bihari Yadav by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon and threw his body into Vilasi Canal.
After the police arrested the accused, they recovered:
- The missing head
- The murder weapon
- Rinku’s blood-stained clothes
- The victim’s mobile phone
All three — Rinku Kumari, Baleshwar Harijan, and Bijula Devi — confessed to their crime during police questioning.
