“MAHI KIDS STUDIO” – Foremost designer kids wear label in the city.
The designer , Mahi Singh talks about the real struggle of finding kid’s wear in the town, so to say Patna, Bihar. The story starts when Creative Director and designer of Mahi Kids Studio , back in time started learning fashion designing from International Institute Of Fashion Designing (INIFD), Patna, and stuck to the idea of launching the very first kids wear in town. The designer went on to many exposures working with popular names in the industry – Imam Siddiqui, known to be fashion stylist, Kanwaljeet Singh, a veteran fashion designer; participating in fashion events organised in state. She also participated in the finest design competition organised for the new designers in India called ‘The Design Festival’ Launched for Lakme Fashion Week, before she started her career in kids wear.
Her very awaited dream plan became reality when she launched her own Kids clothing brand named ” MAHI KIDS STUDIO” on March 2, 2022 on social media – Instagram @mahikidsstudio93. She knew the journey would not be easy being the sole proprietor of the brand but it’s always said “it’s better to take risk than to do nothing”. Proving her instinct right and with family and friends support she made it to the launch of the brand. The creative director says- I am making every possible requirements to bring the exquisite and fresh designs for kids in the city and all over India from finding best of comfortable fabrics, fine tailoring and unique cuts and design.
The brand received a lavish limelight when she showcased a collection of 16 kids wear of girls and boys in the fashion event called BIHAR COUTURE RUNWAY 2022 organised by SR Adventure and team notably Abhishek Kumar and Captain Aryan Sinha, a show that witnessed many known names walked down on the runway. The collection featured different ensemble of kids wear from “bling dresses, gowns and saris for girls and colour blocked shirts & Trouser and kurta sets for boys. The collection had the inspiration from colourful candies and sweets. Each look were accessoriesed with pretty and attractive hairstyles, colourful paper made windmill, glitter candies made of thermocol sheets and balloons added in the abundance to the show. The show brought the brand to the forefront for the audiences. The designer also talks about making the brand a global name and reaching to India’s multi-designers store and to the online shopping platform.
