Rashi Bagga : Rashi Bagga, an undergraduate student at the International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR), created history by offering a job package worth Rs 85,000 per annum. Rashi’s achievement is not only a personal triumph but also marks the highest salary package ever received by an IIIT-NR student, thus setting an unprecedented benchmark for the institute’s 2023 placement records. 

Interestingly, Rashi was already offered a good package by another company a few days ago, but according to a report in India Today, Rashi Bagga was interested in appearing for other job interviews and finally managed to get a record job offer. 

IIIT’s media coordinator said that Rashi Bagga was interested in appearing for other job interviews, though he was also satisfied with his previous job offer. According to reports, the same company that selected Rashi Bagga this year  selected Chinky Karda of IIIT-NR last year for an annual package of Rs 57,0000. The salary offered to Chinky Karda was the highest package in his batch. 

Another IIIT-NR student, Yogesh Kumar,  also managed to get a job offer of Rs 56,0000 per annum for the post of software engineer. Yogesh Kumar received a job offer from an international company.  

In 2020,  IIIT-NR student Ravi Kushashwa received an annual job offer of Rs 1 crore  from an international company but  could not join the company due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to IIIT-NR placement office, the average CTC for this year’s batch has been revised to  16.5 lakhs per annum and the average CTC was  13.6 lakhs per annum.
