Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a foreign trip. On Wednesday (August 4), he arrived in Singapore, where he received a warm welcome from the Indian community. During his visit, PM Modi was seen playing a drum to a Marathi tune.
After completing his visit to Brunei, PM Modi has reached Singapore for the second phase of his trip. He will meet Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and discuss with the leadership there. He will also meet business leaders in Singapore.

Video of PM Modi Playing Drum Goes Viral
A video of PM Modi playing the drum has gone viral on social media. People from all walks of life celebrated this light-hearted moment and welcomed him to Singapore, where he is visiting for the first time in about six years. Later, a woman tied a rakhi on PM Modi, and many people queued up to take selfies with him. He also signed an autograph for someone at the hotel where he is staying.
Meetings with Singapore Leaders
PM Modi was welcomed by officials at Changi Airport and the Indian community. He will later meet with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Wong and Lee will host PM Modi for separate meals.
