Oppenheimer Box Office (Worldwide): The Cillian Murphy-led thriller is poised to become Christopher Nolan’s fourth highest-grossing film, surpassing Interstellar!

 In the latest box office development, Oppenheimer becomes Christopher Nolan’s fourth highest-grossing film today. Keep reading! 

 July was the Barbenheimer wave and it put a big smile on the faces of people in the industry. Despite the high-voltage clash, both Barbie and Oppenheimer did explosive business at the global box office and continue to do well. In the latest development, the Cillian Murphy-led thriller is set to become Christopher Nolan’s fourth highest-grossing film  of all time. Keep reading to find out more! 

 Released on July 21, the film is based on the life of  American theoretical physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, who led the Manhattan Project during World War II. The film received very positive reviews upon its release and despite being long and kind of a treat, the audience showed immense love. Even now, after  almost a month in theaters, the collection refuses to slow down. 

 Deadline reports that Oppenheimer will reach $718 million at the  box office today. That number makes the film  Christopher Nolan’s fourth biggest hit, surpassing Interstellar’s $715.75 million worldwide. The overseas collection is said to be $432 million by the end of tonight’s show. Check out Christopher Nolan’s highest-grossing films at the  box office (according to Box Office Mojo): 

 The Dark Knight Rises – $1.081 billion 

 The Dark Knight – $1.006 billion 

 Start – $837.18 million 

 Interstellar – $715.75 million 

 Oppenheimer – $668 million 

 After beating out Interstellar, Oppenheimer ends its run in the same fourth place, which could be eclipsed by Inception’s $837.18 million.
