OnePlus is expected to unveil its next flagship, the OnePlus 12, later this year. The device is expected to arrive as a successor to the OnePlus 11. CAD-based renderings of the OnePlus 12 were leaked last month. The leaked renders confirmed that the phone will have a triple camera and LED flash. It was also confirmed that the smartphone will be launched with a black sandstone finish.
Now, ahead of the launch, MySmartPrice has teamed up with well-known leaker OnLeaks to exclusively reveal high-resolution renders of the OnePlus 12. It’s worth noting that these new sets of renders are based on actual images of the pre-production unit and differ from those previously leaked.
A new render of the OnePlus 12 has leaked
If we look at the renders, we can see that the OnePlus 12 has a triple camera and LED flash on the back. Previous leaked renders showed the smartphone to have an extra stainless steel bump below the dual camera module. However, it seems to have disappeared in the new leaked images. We also see a mystery component other than the triple camera body added during prototyping. The Hasselblad logo next to the camera module is now replaced by the initial letter “H”. Additionally, other design aspects of the device appear to be the same as what we saw in the previous rendering.
There is a hole in the middle of the smartphone screen where the selfie camera fits. The power and alarm sliders are on the right side of the device, while the volume keys are on the left.
As for the specifications of the OnePlus 12, it is expected to have a 6.7-inch OLED display with QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is rumored to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood, which is likely to launch in October. Additionally, the phone is expected to have up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It is said to have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope lens.
The device is likely to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone is said to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can support 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Currently there is no information about the release date of the device. An earlier leak provided by Max Jambor suggested that the smartphone will debut in China later in December this year and in global markets including India in January 2024.
