OnePlus 12 leaks reveal potential features: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, improved cameras, up to 24GB of RAM, bigger battery and more.

The steady stream of OnePlus 12 leaks continues while its official announcement is awaited. The phone is expected to debut in China in the coming months and is expected to launch  early next year. Reports suggest that the OnePlus 12 is likely to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and advanced cameras in collaboration with Hasselblad.

According to the latest leak from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone is rumoured to offer up to 24GB of RAM, a major upgrade that could significantly improve multitasking capabilities.

According to media reports, the smartphone is likely to retain its triple camera setup on the back. This camera setup should consist of a 50-megapixel wide-angle  camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel camera with a periscope lens.

A report in India Today highlights that OnePlus’ main camera is expected to feature a new Sony IMX9xx sensor. The periscope lens is expected to offer 3x optical zoom, and OnePlus will continue to work with Hasselblad on fine-tuning the rear camera system.

In addition, a significantly larger 5400 mAh battery is expected, complemented by 100 W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging options. Other notable features include an optical under-display fingerprint sensor and  a new, oversized x-axis motor for better haptic feedback,  the report adds.

As for its design, images leaked by Smartprix in collaboration with OnLeaks suggest a curved screen with gently rounded corners, which is typical of the OnePlus aesthetic. The company should maintain its tradition of adding an alert slider for convenient sound mode control, allowing users to quickly switch between mute and silent settings.

The rendering subtly reveals that there is no notch or notch for the selfie camera on the front panel. The rendering gives a look at the OnePlus 12, shown in a sleek black colour variant.
