But did you know you can now make UPI payments without using a mobile number? Yes, with a small setting on apps like Google Pay and PhonePe, you can use UPI without a mobile number. Here’s how to set it up.
How to Find Your UPI ID
If you use UPI apps, you can find your UPI ID through these apps.
On Google Pay:
- Open the Google Pay app.
- Tap on the profile icon at the top right corner.
- Your UPI ID will appear under your name on the new screen.
On PhonePe:
- Open the PhonePe app.
- Tap on the profile icon at the top left corner.
- Your UPI ID will be displayed on the new screen.
How to Make Payments Using Your UPI ID
If your mobile number is not working, you can still make UPI payments using your UPI ID.
On Google Pay:
- Open the Google Pay app.
- Select the option to “Pay UPI ID or Number.”
- Enter your UPI ID and proceed with the payment.
On PhonePe:
- You can also use your UPI ID for payments on PhonePe in a similar way.
By following these steps, you can manage your UPI payments even if your mobile number is not available.
