After India’s victory in the Champions Trophy 2025 final, a new controversy has started. During the award ceremony in Dubai, no official from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was seen on stage. This has raised many questions.

Shiv Sena (UBT) Reacts

Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey commented on this and said:

👉 “No PCB official was seen on stage in Dubai. This is India’s biggest victory. Pakistan’s arrogance has been defeated. This is a team effort, and India is now the world champion.”

He also criticized Raj Thackeray’s recent statement on the Ganga water issue and said:

👉 “Some people see faith in the Mahakumbh, while others see dirt. Raj Thackeray keeps changing his stance. Those who challenge God always face downfall.”

Why is This a Big Issue?

The Champions Trophy 2025 final was played in Dubai, and Pakistan was the host country for the tournament. However, during the award ceremony, no PCB official was called on stage.

🔹 PCB CEO Sumer Ahmed was present at the stadium but was not invited to the stage.
🔹 PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi could not attend due to official duties as Home Minister.
🔹 The awards were distributed by ICC President Jay Shah, BCCI President Roger Binny, and Secretary Devjit Saikia.

This has raised concerns in Pakistan’s cricket community, as it was a major ICC event hosted by Pakistan, yet their officials were absent from the main stage.

Shoaib Akhtar Questions PCB’s Absence

Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar also questioned this in a video on social media. He said:

👉 “India won the Champions Trophy, but no PCB official was present at the award ceremony. Pakistan was the host. Why was no one from PCB there?

Will PCB Complain to ICC?

According to sources, PCB may raise this issue with ICC. Some believe it was a misunderstanding, while others think it was deliberate.

For now, Team India is celebrating its victory, while Pakistan is left questioning why their officials were missing from their own tournament’s ceremony! 🏆🔥
