Edge 30 Neo members were even teased on the official X poster (formerly Twitter). And now Motorola’s Romanian branch has shared a post that seems to confirm the phone’s global release date.
As discovered by Mobilissimo, Motorola Romania shared an invitation confirming that the Edge 40 Neo will be released on September 14. The poster said, “Enter the world of colours” and the smartphone is likely to come in three Pantone-branded variants, including Soothing. navy blue We don’t get any other information about the smartphone from the teaser.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo was previously said to feature a 6.55-inch P-OLED display with curved edges. The panel could offer FHD resolution and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. For photography, the Edge 40 Neo can carry a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
Under the hood, the Edge 40 Neo could get an upgraded version of the Dimensity 1050 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It could run Android 13 based on MyUX. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo is said to come with an IP68 rated build that ensures water and dust resistance and weighs around 170 grams. Leaked information suggests that the Edge 40 Neo should cost around £290 in the UK.
