In the Kolkata RG Kar Medical College rape and murder case, the CBI is working tirelessly to connect the dots. The agency will now conduct polygraph tests on former principal Sandeep Ghosh and four trainee doctors who were with the victim on the night of the crime. The Sealdah court has granted permission for these tests. Today, the CBI team will also present the accused, Sanjay Roy, in court, as he has not yet agreed to undergo a polygraph test.
Polygraph Test to Uncover Secrets
The CBI has not yet clarified what happened on the night of August 8 and 9. To get to the truth, they want to test Sanjay Roy, Sandeep Ghosh, and the four doctors who dined with the victim that night. The CBI believes that these individuals might not be telling the truth or might be hiding information. The polygraph test is seen as a crucial step to uncovering the facts.
The CBI finds the statements given by Sandeep Ghosh during the past seven days unsatisfactory. It seems that he may be hiding something significant.
Will the Polygraph Test Reveal the Truth?
The CBI needs to find out what the four doctors discussed with the victim that night, what they ate, what happened during and after dinner, where the victim went afterward, and when they all met again. These four doctors are important because, besides Sanjay Roy, they were the ones who saw the victim alive that night. Although the main accused has confessed to the crime, the CBI has doubts about his statements and wants to verify everything through the polygraph test.
