JDU Announces New Team: New Heads and In-Charges Appointed for 243 Assembly Seats

JDU Politics Update: The Janata Dal United (JDU) recently dissolved all its committees. Today, the party announced new appointments for various positions. On September 12, JDU appointed heads and in-charges for 13 committees and two divisions. Additionally, new in-charges were named for all 243 assembly seats. State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha issued a letter regarding these changes.

New Committee Heads Appointed

  • Former MP Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi has been appointed as the State President of the Backward Classes Committee.
  • Bharti Mehta has been named the State President of the Women’s Wing.
  • Former Minister Dr. Ranju Geeta will serve as the in-charge for the Women’s Wing.
  • Ashraf Ansari has been appointed as the State President of the Minority Committee, with Major Iqbal Haider as the in-charge.
  • Manish Kumar is the new State President of the Youth Wing, and Vashistha Singh is the in-charge.
  • Radheyshyam has been named the State President of the Student Wing, and Legislative Council member Virendra Narayan Yadav will oversee the student committee as the in-charge.

CM Nitish Kumar’s Active Role

The JDU has been making continuous changes in its organization, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar being actively involved. Recently, JDU dissolved all its Bihar-level committees and quickly reformed them, with Umesh Kushwaha remaining as the State President. The new JDU Bihar team includes 10 Vice Presidents, 49 General Secretaries, 46 Secretaries, 9 Spokespersons, and one Treasurer.
