Jaskaran Singh Kaun Banega Crorepati : The game show is shown on Sony Television from Monday to Friday at 21:00. 

Punjab’s Jaskaran Singh is the first contestant to win  1 crore in the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted game show aired on Sony Entertainment Television from Monday to Friday. 

The 21-year-old from a  village in Punjab will now attempt the final question of Rs 7 crore  in the next episode of the show, which will be aired on September 5. Jaskaran becomes the first contestant to win Rs. 7 crowns per show if he can answer the question correctly. 

On Thursday, KBC’s official Instagram account posted a new ad titled “Paar kar har mushkil Punjab ke chhote se Gaon Khalra se aaye Jaskaran pahunch chuke hain iss Khel ke sabse Bade 7 crorere ka sawal par! Dekhiye #KaunBanegaCro ya 5 September, Somvaar-Mangalvaar Raat 9 Baje , Surf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par.” 

The channel also shared a promo where host Amitabh Bachchan reflects on the show’s history since its inception in 2000, acknowledging the many cropathi contestants. In this video, Jaskaran sighs nervously and puts down a glass of water while answering the 16th question. 

Jaskaran, who is currently preparing for the UPSC entrance exams, will air on Sony Entertainment Television  on September 4 and 5 at 9 pm. 

KBC is the Indian adaptation of the very popular British quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Bachchan has hosted the show since its first season in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
