According to the report, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are likely to be lighter than their predecessors. The company’s next-generation mobile phones are expected to arrive in September with significant hardware upgrades, including a modern USB Type-C port, and the Pro models will also have a titanium body, instead of the stainless steel used on the iPhone 14 Pro and earlier . models . Thanks to this, the weight of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max can be reduced by up to 8 percent  compared to previous models.

9to5Mac predicts that the iPhone 15 Pro will weigh 191g, which is lighter than its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro, which weighs 206g. At the same time, the 15 Pro Max could weigh 221 g, which means that it weighs less than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which weighs 240 g. They show a  7.2 percent drop to 7.9 percent for the Pro and Pro Max models.

It is worth noting that these are only predictions and Apple has not yet revealed any details about the alleged iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Even if the predictions are correct, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro seem a bit lighter than their predecessors. However, it can help balance the weight of the extra protective case on these smartphones. They are also expected to remain heavier than the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which are expected to have aluminium bodies.

Along with the rumoured switch to a titanium body, Apple plans to introduce two new colour options with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, according to a new report. The phones will be launched in new Navy Blue and Titanium Gray colour options, while the current Gold and Deep Purple colours may be dropped.

According to earlier reports, the iPhone 15 series will also offer faster data transfer speeds thanks to  a USB Type-C port that replaces the proprietary Lightning connector. However, Thunderbolt class transfer speed is probably not the only advantage of the modern connector.

According to reports, Apple is also planning to bring support for faster wired charging speeds (up to 35W) to its upcoming smartphones.
