India vs Pakistan Updates : Asia Cup 2023, the rains have returned and the umpires have finally decided to stop the match. The match will continue on a day off, ie. tomorrow India score 147/2 in 24.1 overs. 

  India vs Pakistan Updates : Asia Cup 2023 Rain interrupted yet another India vs Pakistan thriller as India dominated Pakistan’s attacks on Sunday. The match was suspended as the Pakistani bowlers tried to make a comeback against the mighty Indians. After several  pitch inspections and efforts by the pitch staff, the rain returned and the match was called off for the day. 

The match will resume from the same point on the reserve day which is Monday. India are 147/5 in 24.1 overs led by Virat Kohli and KL Rahul in India’s innings. Shadab Khan bowled during the suspension and  is expected to resume the attack on Monday.  India  made two changes to the playing XI, with the injured Shreyas Iyer  replaced by KL Rahul while Jasprit Bumrah returned to the Indian side. 

India are also  confident of their chances after beating Nepal by 10 wickets in their last match. However, the Rohit Sharma-led team will try to approach the game a little differently than the last time India took on the Pakistani pacers and struggled for 66, losing four wickets at one stage to Ishan Kishan and Hardik. anchored the innings with a 100 run plus partnership to take the team to the 250 run plus target. 

It was earlier predicted that rain might spoil the final India-Pakistan match, but the weather in Colombo now seems to be improving. 

 India vs Pakistan Updates :Highlights of Ind vs Pak Asia Cup 2023 So Far: 

 1. India Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started with a bang and gave India a great start. 

 2. Shubman Gill kept  the pressure on at the other end while Rohit Sharma was cautious. 

 3. Slowly both the players started opening their arms and brutally punished each Pakistani bowler. 4. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma smashed their fifties to put Team India in a great position.  

 5. The first breakthrough for Pakistan came when Shadab Khan dismissed Rohit Sharma (56). Soon Shubman Gill (58) also walked back to the pavilion when he was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi. 6. Rain interrupted the India vs Pakistan match and the pitch was covered. 

 7. Even after several rounds of play, the referees were not satisfied with the playing conditions. The ground staff tried many things, but eventually it rained back and the match was called off. The game will resume tomorrow from  where it left off.
