India 2023 World Cup squad : BCCI  announced India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. Both Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul made it to the final. Check out the entire team here. 

India 2023 World Cup  Squad : India 2023 World Cup  Squad Announcement Updates  The Men’s Selection Committee headed by Ajit Agarkar has announced India’s official  squad for the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. Over the weekend, Agarkar travelled to Sri Lanka to hold talks with team captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid over the final 15-man roster. There was speculation about the  fitness of KL Rahul, the team’s senior middle-order batsman. If he plays the qualifiers for the 2023 Asian Cup, recent updates suggest he should be able to take part in the Super 4 stage. Now he has been included in India’s world cup squad. 

2023 World Cup Squad : The team will not have an off spinner . 

Without a handy off spinner in the team, India may struggle against teams with  left-handed batsmen. However, Ajit Agarkar defended the selection of left-arm  spinner Kuldeep Yadav. “Ideally we wanted an off-spinner but this (picking Kuldeep Yadav) gives balance. We are quite happy with our bowlers, Agarkar said. 

India 2023 World Cup Squad :  Sanju Samson has missed the bus! 

There are many  players who missed the bus. They include Yuzvendra Chahal, Sanju Samson, Prasidh Krishna and Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. 

Other notable names including Shikhar Dhawan, Tilak Varma and Rishabh Pant (recovering from accidenp) are absent. 

2023 World Cup Squad :Rohit says ‘Best possible team selected’ 

 “With so much talent  in India,  it is a tough task to limit the number of players to just 15 players. We believe we have picked the best possible 15-man squad,” Rohit said. 

India’s 2023 world Cup squad : It includes Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Suraj.
