Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience bad weather for the next two days. According to the Meteorological Center in Shimla, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of the state, and a yellow alert has been issued.
After two days of bad weather, the state is expected to have clear skies. The forecast says that from September 20 to September 24, the weather will remain clear.
Jubbarhatti Records the Most Rain
In the past 24 hours, Jubbarhatti in Shimla received the most rain, with 46.0 millimeters recorded. Jubbarhatti is also where Shimla’s airport is located. Other areas, like Mandi received 38.6 mm, Kasauli 35.0 mm, Ghagas 30.0 mm, Sarahan 26.0 mm, and Kandaghat 24.4 mm of rain.

Parts of Shimla, Jubbarhatti, Sundernagar, and Bhuntar also experienced storms. The local administration has asked people to stay safe during the rain.
Bilaspur Hottest, Keylong Coldest
In the past 24 hours, Bilaspur recorded the highest temperature at 35.0°C, while Keylong had the lowest at 8.4°C. Other temperatures include Dalhousie at 19.9°C, Chamba at 22.2°C, Dharamshala at 29.0°C, Kangra at 32.8°C, and Manali at 26.0°C.
Highway Issues Due to Landslides
People in Kinnaur district, especially on National Highway-5 in Nigulsari, are facing difficulties. Landslides are repeatedly blocking the highway, making travel very tough. Now, a 65-meter section of the highway has completely sunk, causing major issues for travelers.
