Elon Musk is launching a new TV app that will compete with popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hotstar. This new TV app will be available on the X platform.

Musk has confirmed that a beta version of the X TV app is now available for Android TV. This beta version can be used on LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV devices. However, the official launch date for the app has not yet been announced.

According to details and screenshots listed on Google Play, the X TV app might become a new streaming service. The company believes that the X streaming service will be unique and available to all internet users. It will offer live channels, news, sports, movies, music, and weather updates.

  • Replay Option: Users will be able to replay shows.
  • Cloud Storage: Users can store shows for up to 72 hours using cloud storage.
  • Free DVR Recording: The app will offer up to 100 hours of free DVR recording.

Subscription Plans:

Reports suggest that accessing the X TV app might require a subscription. More details about this will be revealed closer to the launch date. Earlier, Musk had also introduced premium plans on X with various benefits for users.
