Delhi Election Results 2025: After Arvind Kejriwal’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut made a surprising statement on February 9, 2025. He said, “Anna Hazare is very happy with Arvind Kejriwal’s loss.”
Raut’s Questions on Anna Hazare’s Silence
Sanjay Raut questioned Anna Hazare’s silence on corruption during Modi’s government. He said, “Why does Anna Hazare remain silent when corruption happens under the Modi government? But he is happy about Kejriwal’s defeat.”
He further criticized the situation, saying, “One industrialist is looting the country and becoming richer. How can this be tolerated in a democratic nation?”
Issues with Voter List
Raut also targeted the voter list system. He said, “Just like in Maharashtra, questions were raised about the voter list in Delhi. AAP leaders highlighted these issues, but Anna Hazare remained silent.”
Raut added, “Similar complaints were made during elections in Haryana and Bihar as well.”
Accusations Against BJP
Raut accused the BJP of misusing power and money to win elections. He claimed that since 2014, elections have not been conducted fairly under the BJP government.
Anna Hazare Criticizes Kejriwal
After the election results, Anna Hazare told the media, “I gave Kejriwal advice on how to govern, but he did not follow it. His focus was entirely on alcohol policies.”
Hazare emphasized, “I have always supported giving election tickets to people with a clean social image and no allegations against them.”
