The Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj is witnessing a massive gathering of devotees every day. On Friday, 7th February, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also visited the Kumbh to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. After the sacred bath, he praised the arrangements made by the Yogi Adityanath government.
Praise for Arrangements
CM Bhupendra Patel said, “The arrangements in the Kumbh area are beautiful, and no one is facing any problems. Taking a dip at the Triveni Sangam is a fortunate moment for me.”
Before the holy bath, he offered prayers at the Bade Hanuman Temple and later visited the Gujarat Pavilion located in Sector 7.
Sacred Bath and Rituals
After bathing at the Triveni Sangam, the Chief Minister praised the excellent management and cleanliness in the Kumbh area. He added, “Under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the efforts of CM Yogi Adityanath, the arrangements here are remarkable. From cleanliness to facilities, everything is excellent.”
He described the holy bath as a lucky moment, saying, “Bathing at Triveni Sangam, the spiritual center of India, is a blessing.” Under full security, he reached the Sangam by motorboat and offered prayers to the Sun God after taking the holy dip. Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi also accompanied him for the sacred rituals.
Warm Welcome by Minister
The Gujarat CM arrived in Prayagraj at 9 AM by state aircraft. Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi welcomed him. The CM then visited Bade Hanuman Temple, where he performed rituals and received a replica of the temple as a gift from Mahant Balbir Giri Ji.
Inauguration of Dormitory
After his temple visit, CM Patel went to the Gujarat Pavilion in Sector 7. He inspected exhibits such as models of the Statue of Unity, Sabarmati Ashram, and Sun Temple. He also visited medical camps, literature stalls, and other galleries.
In support of the large number of pilgrims from Gujarat, the CM inaugurated a 400-bed dormitory for their convenience. He praised the overall management and arrangements at the pavilion.
