In Nalanda, Bihar, two teenage boys were arrested for making videos (reels) while openly flaunting weapons. The incident happened in the Baulipur area of Sohsarai police station on Friday afternoon. The boys were waving guns and cartridges while making a reel. The police received a tip-off and rushed to the spot. Upon seeing the police, the boys tried to run away but were caught red-handed with the weapons.
Addicted to Making Reels
It is reported that both boys were openly showing off the weapons while one of them was filming the video. One boy is from the same neighborhood, while the other is from Naisarai. They are friends and have a strong passion for making reels, which is why they were making videos with weapons. The police acted quickly after receiving the information and arrested them on the spot.
Local residents said that these boys were always making different types of videos from morning till evening, hoping to become famous on social media. Their families tried to explain to them, but they didn’t listen, as they were too obsessed with making reels. The boys were also attending tuition classes together, but they lost interest in studies because of their focus on making reels, so they quit school.
Weapons Seized from the Boys
Sohsarai police station in-charge, Rajmani, said the boys were making reels with guns and cartridges when the police caught them. Weapons were seized, and their mobile phones were checked, revealing many videos as evidence. Further investigation is underway. The boys’ families have been informed, and they have been urged to avoid breaking the law and to stop making such videos, as it is a crime.
