WhatsApp: Often, due to storage issues or other reasons, we can’t keep many apps on our phone. If you need to book a cab, you might have to download the app each time, which can be annoying.
Uber Service: We have a method for you so that you don’t need to keep the cab service app on your phone. You can book a cab through WhatsApp instead. Just send one message from your phone. Here’s how you can do it:
Book Uber via WhatsApp:
- Save this number on your phone: 7292000002.
- Open WhatsApp on your phone.
- Go to the chat section and send a “Hi” message.
- Choose your language.
- Enter your address.
- After selecting your pickup location, your cab will be booked. You’ll receive the driver’s details and a shareable pin.
Log In to Book a Ride:
If you don’t see the option to select a language after sending “Hi,” don’t worry. The options might differ on different phones. You might see a login option. Click on it, enter the OTP sent to your registered number, and then enter your password. After that, you can book your cab.
Before Getting in the Cab:
- Before getting into the cab or bike, make sure of three things:
- If the driver’s profile photo or number does not match, do not get in and report it on the app.
- Share your live location with a trusted person as soon as you get into the cab.
- If you see a child lock in the cab, address it immediately.
