The effect of pre-monsoon weather continues in Bihar. Today, on Saturday, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain with strong winds blowing at 30 to 40 km/h in the northeastern districts like Purnia, Katihar, Araria, Supaul, Kishanganj, Saharsa, and Madhepura. There’s also a chance of thunderstorms in some areas.

This morning at 5:30 AM, the weather department issued a yellow alert for Madhubani, Darbhanga, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, East Champaran, and West Champaran for light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds.
Meanwhile, an orange alert was issued for parts of Bettiah, Motihari, and Sheohar, warning of moderate rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds until 8:30 AM.

Pre-Monsoon Will Be Active on 13-14 April

Apart from these, no rain is expected in other districts today. However, cloudy skies are predicted across the state. From 13 to 14 April, pre-monsoon activity is likely to increase in almost all districts. Heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds are expected in both North and South Bihar.
