2024 Skoda Superb and Kodiaq interior: Czech automaker Skoda has released interior images of the 2024 Skoda Superb sedan and Skoda Kodiaq SUV. The new models are expected to debut in days and include new models, updated engines, additional features and more.
It can be seen from the published images that the interiors of the new Superb and Kodiaq will receive a thorough renovation. Inside, both cars feature a new dashboard layout with a large stand-alone touchscreen infotainment system with small rotary dials below and a small screen embedded in it.
The Superb has vents hidden by vertical slats, while the Kodiaq has vertically stacked vents that use more leather upholstery. Skoda says the upholstery is made entirely from recycled polyester. Another major change is the placement of the gear selector on the steering column, similar to Mercedes-Benz models.
Both cars have a 13.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Other expected features include connected car technology, built-in navigation system, premium sound system, performance-oriented features, power input display and Kodiaq terrain information display.
As mentioned earlier, both cars also get three rotary dials below the infotainment system with a 1.25-inch built-in display. Built-in screens display various information on climate control, seat ventilation, volume, fan speed, air direction, smart AC, map zoom and driving modes. The central selector can be pressed down and the desired function can be set, which can be set via the infotainment system.
The cars also get a 10-inch digital instrument cluster with a HUD display. The dashboard can be customised with different themes and the colour theme changes according to the selected driving mode. The HUD displays various information such as speed, RPM, navigation and more.
Other features include the placement of a USB-C socket in the central rear-view mirror, which can be used to connect a dashboard camera, 15W wireless smart charging, unique LED light strips and umbrella storage in the front doors.
